Haru Beaded fish hanging

Haru sushi restaurant
1 Wall street NYC

This was just a very complicated art hanging I did for some fabricators I work for.
Huge art piece 8 feet x 18 feet high?  Entryway to Haru Japanese restaurant.
Was working nearby went in to take photos, since i didn't when I was hanging it.
They enclosed it with glass really kills the beauty of it looked way better without enclosure.

425 Keap st. Williamsburg BKLYN

425 Keap street
6 story+ basement renovation
40,000 square ft
Was hired initially as electrician, but took over as project manager/designer.
I had a crew of about 9
Wish I had taken before pictures.

view of typical living room in each loft apartment

Lots of sandblasting

All loft /apartments were one bedroom

concrete cast in place molds I designed and made were used throughout the building. Above you see a window sill of cast cement

the column bases I did the same thing made for an easy elegant solution, as to how to seal penetration of column without spending hours on wood moldings.
this was done after the oak flooring installation.

most bedrooms I utilized a frosted glass wall

Walls ceilings between loft/apartments used soundboard and sheetrock plus fiberglass batting to soundproof between tenants, worked really well. From my soundroom building experience.

Presidents hotel lobby

Presidents Hotel 48street NYC

Fabricated and installed these Gigantic faux lamps
to conceal steel columns within the lobby.
Constructed from cast fiberglass within a 2 piece mold
Each Lamp was cast as 4 pieces and assembled on site
within the lamp required a rebar skeleton casted into fiberglass molds
which was subsequently  welded to the steel columns.
It was a lot of welding, actually got a sunburn from doing so much without proper protection.

One of my projects when I was doing art fabrication for several design firms..

Steel rings were added to the Lamp columns as bumper guards
